SASCO is seeking an Low Voltage Assistant Project Manager for our Data & Systems Group.
This position requires an individual that has experience in TEAM building with owners/vendors/Subcontractors/General Contractors.
NOTE:
Ideally, one of the positions would have someone strong in Structured Cabling Job Duties:
Supporting the Project Managers, the Project Engineer / APM will have the following job duties:
Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials to job site by working with purchasing department.
Regular dialogue with labor superintendents, project foremen and office staff.
Build long-term customer relationships by consistently meeting expectations and offering innovative solutions.
Provide consistent feedback and reports to Project Managers.
Additional duties as determined by Project Managers.
Preferred Job Requirements:
Experience as an PE / APM / PM on Systems/Data Projects on hard bid and design build large projects.
Includes overseeing the design, installation and implementation of Information Technology Low Voltage Systems.
Typical systems are; Paging, Intercom, Security, CATV, Access Control, CCTV, Local Area Network, Wireless, Audio/Visual, Dynamic Displays, and Telephone.
Structured Cabling planning and implementation Network planning and implementation Sales Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to present in a professional manner and represent the company image 1-plus years' experience estimating Structured Cabling and Low Voltage Systems.
Awareness of NEC Code, local code(s), and EIA/TIA/BICSI Standards.
Strong organizational and leadership skills.
Must be able to work independently as well as a part of the team.
Depth of knowledge with a wide variety of cabling materials and methods of installation.
Read and understand civil, architectural, structural, MEP, and Telecommunications plans and specifications (Division 27000 and 28000) as they relate to the structured cabling work.
Proficient using computer (Microsoft Office suite).
