Marketing- Cake Project Supervisor
Fullerton, CA Fullerton, CA Full-time Full-time $23 - $25 an hour $23 - $25 an hour The Cake Product Management Supervisor position is for a candidate who has 3-5 years of experience in food and/or restaurant product management experience, and strong analytical skills.
The Cake Product Supervisor defines the 85 C innovation standard for cakes, cookies, and such related desserts across all cultures.
This position will spearhead the Cake Category including performance of existing products and the development of new products as well as stay up to date with culinary trends and flavor profiles.
This specialist will lead the planning, marketing, and execution of new product launches and category-related campaigns.
The Cake Product Specialist must be organized, able to multi-task, able to manage communications and deadlines among cross functional teams, adhere to due dates, and display leadership qualities.
Required Skills and Abilities Ability to manage projects simultaneously with strong project management skills.
Demonstrated experience in the position duties and responsibilities In-depth understanding of 85C products and future concepts Demonstrated ability to consistently meet or exceed assigned targets and deadlines Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications Ability to work in a team-oriented management environment and to help solve problems Ability to direct the work of assigned personnel as requested or requires Demonstrated success in product launches and promotions Ability to understand, create and present detailed reports Must be highly proficient in business math and analytics.
Demonstrated experience in the position duties and responsibilities.
Mandarin speaking preferred Job Duties Lead cross-functional teams with expertise to manage current products and develop new products Supervise market research and prioritize ideas based on the popularity, viability in terms of current market trend, ease of production, and overall cost Implement and monitor the progress of strategic marketing plans, to include measurable metrics, objectives, goals, in-depth competitive product analysis and timetable; validate development effort and implement adjustments where appropriate.
Lead new product launched; elicit feedback for each segment to identify and propose improvements.
Provide ROI analysis of product launches and meet annual comp sales growth.
Determine positioning of assigned products, considering price, volume and overall profitability.
Conduct rationalization analysis and direct modification and changes to existing product formulation and packaging.
This position requires general office work with light physical duty, work indoors and are protected from weather and/or contaminants, but not, necessarily, occasional temperature changes.
The employee is regularly required to sit and often uses repetitive hand motions.
The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms and may lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, with occasional standing and walking.
