We are seeking a dynamic, innovative, and experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join our team.
This is a permanent position that offers a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in our company's growth and success.
The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for developing and improving manufacturing processes by studying product and manufacturing methods.
Responsibilities:
1.
Evaluate manufacturing processes by designing and conducting research programs; applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials; conferring with equipment vendors; soliciting observations from operators.
2.
Improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning work flow, space requirements, and equipment layout.
3.
Assure product and process quality by designing testing methods; testing finished- product and process capabilities; establishing standards; confirming manufacturing processes.
4.
Provide manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labor, and material costs; reviewing production schedules; estimating future requirements.
5.
Prepare product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
6.
Keep equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and repair services; following manufacturer's instructions and established procedures; requesting special service.
7.
Maintain product and company reputation by complying with government regulations.
8.
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
9.
Implement Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to optimize manufacturing processes and minimize waste.
10.
Design and implement tooling and fixtures to improve process efficiency and safety.
Qualifications:
1.
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
2.
Minimum of 3
years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in the engineering industry.
3.
Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
4.
Proven experience in tooling and fixture design.
5.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
6.
Strong project management and leadership skills.
7.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build strong relationships with internal and external partners.
8.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
9.
Proficiency in CAD software and Microsoft Office Suite.
10.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
11.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
12.
Certification in Lean Six Sigma is a plus.
