Product Marketing Manager (Digital Printing a must)

Job description
We are looking for an experienced Product Marketing Manager who is energetic, innovative, professional and passionate team player to join our Marketing Team.
Principal Responsibilities
This individual will be responsible for managing products within our new line of printable media (Labels & Cards) for digital presses. These products are primarily sold to printers, through the paper merchant channel. The ideal candidate will have experience which includes developing marketing plans for this business in close collaboration with BU management, R&D/product development, sales, supply chain, and other functional areas. You will be the "owner" and will execute strategies and programs. This may include:
new product development, product line extensions, product refinement, new distribution, concept development, market research, pricing, competitive and category analysis. This person will also be instrumental in identifying and developing the marketing elements to support programs such as packaging, sales collateral and promotion. This position will work closely and report to the Group Product Manager.
Desired Skills and Experience
o Lead development, execution and management of new product development, product line management, marketing programs, consumer insights, and market research within the company.
o Contribute and/or lead project teams focused on new product development that take projects from ideation, though to development and launch.
o Monitor competitive, market and consumer trends, develop insights and assess potential impacts to formulate product line strategies and help form business strategies for product, positioning, packaging, promotion, pricing.
o Lead execution and financial impact of marketing programs, control related expenditures within approved budget, and leverage revenue and contribution margin analysis for decision making.
o Manage external agency relationships for creative execution and digital media planning/buying for a cohesive and optimized execution across digital media touch points.
o Part of the larger marketing team; representing the business unit on cross-functional initiatives.
o Develop and manage relationships with outside agencies and cross-functionally:
product development, research, finance, supply chain, and sales.
Approximately 15% business travel required.
Minimum Qualifications
o Bachelors Degree required, MBA with Marketing emphasis preferred.
o 3-5+ years related product management experience, preferably in digital printing, digital printers, digital printing of packaging materials, graphic design software (Adobe), specialty paper or digital print related industry. Prior experience marketing products and/or services to small businesses is also a plus.
o Broad perspective on business operations, product manufacturing and, ideally, broad understanding of digital printing and material substrates.
o Demonstrated success in all aspects of marketing, including, but not exclusive to the development and successful execution of marketing plans.
o Experience developing and launching new products, and product improvements, working closely with R&D/product development.
o Experience and demonstrated results developing, executing and evaluating promotional programs.
o Excellent strategic thinker with action and results-orientation.
o Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
o Demonstrated ability to collaborate and integrate cross-functionally.
o Solid oral and written skills, able to effectively communicate and influence.
o Able to effectively organize, plan and manage multiple projects.
o High level of motivation, initiative, and energy.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
