Our current opportunity is for a Maintenance Mechanic. You will be responsible for ensuring operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements on motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production lines. Locates sources of equipment problems by observing mechanical devices in operation, using precision measuring and testing instruments. Removes defective parts by dismantling devices; using hand/power tools; examining form and texture of parts. Controls downtime by working with and training line operators. Fabricates repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.
High school diploma or equivalent. Good verbal and written communication skills. Minimum of five years maintenance mechanic experience for food or cosmetic manufacturer. Experience with fillers, bottlers, cappers, conveyors, blenders, labelers, pumps in food manufacturing. Demonstrated ability to follow diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications. Mechanical aptitude and strong electrical background. Basic math skills. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Must be able to work weekends as needed.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
