Vehicle Description 1940 Buick Special Convertible Coupe Series 40 This 1940 Buick Convertible Coupe is absolutely beautiful, with an extremely high quality full restoration! Straight 8 overhead valve engine with 3 speed manual transmission - runs and drives beautifully, engine smooth and quiet, transmission smooth and quiet too! It's obvious that this car had a frame-off restoration, which we think was done around 2004.
The paint and bodywork extremely well done, the interior is lovely, and the dashboard is beautiful, with the engine turned dash accents and lovely woodgraining on the top.
Restored steering wheel, and the proper rubber floormat with small carpet inserts.
The rubber runningboard pads look like new, and the undercarriage is very clean, showing only a bit of road use.
A wonderful car that is ready to enjoy now!.
